December 9th, 2009: Mrs. Farzana Naqvi Visited Sanjan Nagar School with Ms. Noor Zehra (Daughter of Raza Kazim). Mrs. Naqvi is working with a school in UK. She visited each section of the school and praised the hardworking of students and teachers.

 

 

 

November 24th, 2009: Ms Beth visited the Sanjan Nagar School. She saw different classes and departments of the Sanjan Nagar School. Mr. Beth is an English Language Trainer. She also had an introductory session with teachers and talked about their English language related issues with students.

 

 

 

November 5th, 2009: Mrs. Rana from Agha Khan University Examination Board visited the Sanjan Nagar School. She was here to copy the teacher's comments regarding AKU examination system. She also visited different sections of the school and praised the hardworking of teachers and students.

 

 

October 31st, 2009: New trustee Mr. Qaiser Zulfaqar Khan visited the school. He assured his corporation for the school the completion of school expansion programs. He was deeply impressed with the confidence and performance of the students and faculty.

 

 

 

October 12th, 2009: Sanjan Nagar is trying to get affiliated with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. In this connection the Regional Manager of IB PYP Asia Pacific, Ms. Kathy Derrick visited the school. She observed the school methodologies and had detailed meetings with principal and teachers to get an insight into the school. She visited each class and observed classes while collecting evidences necessary to carry on school's affiliation with IBO. See more pictures...

 

June 9, 2009: A volunteer Ms. Valerie Kaul along with our Trustee, Mrs. Tasneem Maqbool visited the Sanjan Nagar School. They visited different sections of the school and its facilities. Ms. Valerie Kaul was most impressed with the environment, the faculty and the students, She generously donated Rs. 40,000 to the school. Thank You!

 

 

April 27, 2009: Karima Kara and Ms. Alia, Associate Director and Manager Curriculum & Exam Development of AKU Examination Board visited the Sanjan Nagar School. They had a round of the school and appreciated the learning environment provided to the students. 

 

 

 

January 30, 2009: Mr. and Mrs. Shafqat Kakakhail from World Bank visited Sanjan Nagar Scool along with Mrs. Raza Kazim. Their valued blog regarding education at SNPET was marvelous.

 

 

 

8th -May-2008: Mrs. Zehra Majid Ali famous literary figure who is also the sister of Anwar Maqsood was invited as a guest speaker on May 9, 2008. She was accompanied by Mrs. Rashida Raza. She shared her childhood memories and took views of students of grade 7 and 8 about Urdu Literature. Then she visited the school and expressed her emotions through poetry

28-Apr-2008: Ms. Asma Ezdi and Samina Khan from Customer Relation Department, Mobilink Co. visited the Sanjan Nagar School. Along with the Principal, they visited each class and saw the students and teachers working. They admired the dedication and hardwork of students and teachers. Click here to read more about them.



28-Apr-2008: Ex. Professor of Islamia College, Professor Rashda Afzal and Dr. Mrs. Akhtar Malik visited the Sanjan Nagar School. They visited different school departments as well as classes. They praised the hardworking of the students and teachers. They took special interest in new admission with respect to children selection among the deprived community. 19-Mar-2008: A visitor Mr. Shafqat Bukhari visited the school. He has been helping Sanjan Nagar in constructing the new block for Sanjan Nagar College. He visited the different sections and praised the work of children and teachers.

 

 

1-Feb-2008: Mr Hussain Muzaffar visited the Sanjan Nagar school. He met with the teachers and talked to students about their learning experiences at the school. He especially talked to Saba Ali about her experiences who is back from her one year stay at Denver, USA.


 

 

 

1-Nov-2007: Dr. Sajjid Maqbool who is a child specialist and Ms. Tasneem Maqbool a member of school's education committee visited the school. After having a school round they had a speaker's session with the students in which he talked about Nutrition and balanced diet. Students participated in the discussion and enjoyed his session a lot. They were delighted to see the response of the students. He will be visiting school on monthly bases to talk to the students on different health and hygiene issues.

 

25-Oct-2007: A team of three teachers from ITA visited Sanjan Nagar School. They were members of an external evaluation team and it was their introductory visit, basically to get accustomed with the schooling system of Sanjan Nagar. Click here to read and view more pictures.

 

9-Oct-07: Mr. Anil Sethi from Delhi visited Sanjan Nagar. He is a professor of History and working with NCERT, New Delhi. He was impressed by the enormous efforts of teachers and school administration. He talked to the students about New History books. 

Students were inquisitive to read more and learn from those text books. He assured to spend more time at school with student in his next visit.

 

1-Oct-2007: Mr. Iqbal Deane who is based in Atlanta USA visited Sanjan Nagar with Ms. Beena Raza. He met the students, staff and the head teacher. He was pleased to see the quality teaching and learning taking place in the school. He appreciated the environment and facilities we provide to our students free of cost. 4-Oct-2007: An Intel Team of GCETs visited the Sanjan Nagar School accompanied by Ms.Nasira Gardazi. The team members were senior teachers and professors from different government schools. Click here to read and see more. 

 

 

27-Sep-2007: Famous compere, an intellectual and advocate Mr. Naeem Bokhari visited the Sanjan Nagar School as a guest speaker. He took a revealing session on the topic of "Eternal Happiness". He shared his precious views on happiness for others. Students enjoyed his conversation. He assured to continue this session in future lectures. Click here to see more.

 

20-Sep-2007: An Intel Team visited the Sanjan Nagar School presided by Mrs. Nasira Gardezi. The team members were professors & lectures from University of Education of different districts.  They visited different sections of the school and praised the students and school team works towards learning. 24-May-2007: Ms. Rani Haider Ali who is currently engaged in English Language teaching at Kinnard College and Ms. Mehreen Azhar who specializes in “Learning Disabilities” visited Sanjan Nagar School. They visited every classroom and praised the environment provided to the students and admired the devotion and hard work of the teachers and students.

 

3rd May 2007: Guests from Sanjan Nagar Institute of Philosophy and Musicology visited the Sanjan Nagar school. They visited different classes and sections of the school and admired the learning environment provided to the students. Click here to read more pictures and detail.

 

26th April 2007: Friends of Ch. Mueen Afzal chairman SNPET Trust  Mr Jeremy Thorpe and his wife Estella Thorpe visited the Sanjan Nagar School. They were impressed by the hospitality of the school administration and love of the students for them. They praised the hardworking and devoted teachers. 21st April, 2007: Sanjan Nagar Public Education Trust Girls High School held its annual Open House on project and theme based inter-disciplinary learning methodologies. It was well attended by parents, families and educators on 21st April, 2007. Mian Imran Masood, the provincial Education Minister graced the occasion and appreciated creative and detailed work done by the students.

 

16th March 2007: Famous artist, an intellectual and famous advocate Mr. Naeem Bokhari and Arshad Mehmood who is renowned artist and composer, visited the school. They had a lectures session with the students in which they shared their ideas about freedom of thought and the importance of creativity. Concluding his address, Mr. Naeem Bokhari stated that the School was nothing less than a miracle!!! Click here to see more pictures.

 

Senior school children and staff were honored to have Begum Shahnaz Wazir Ali,The Executive Director of Pakistan Center For Philanthropy (PCP) who visited Sanjan Nagar on April,8  for the Speaker's Session. An interactive and informative session was organized in which she discussed her experiences and achievements followed by a long question answer round. Click here to view pictures.

 

February 1st,2007: Ms. Aine Imran Shah, the Public  Relation Officer of the Citi Bank-Group Karachi visited Sanjan Nagar Public Education Trust Girls High School. She was accompanied by Ms. Beena Raza, Member Education Committee and Ms. Mehreen Khalid, Marketing Manager SNPET.  She appreciated the teachers and students' devotion towards learning. Later on, along with Senior and Junior school coordinators, she was given a special presentation on Sanjan Nagar Public Education Trust, its vision and future plans for enabling the children of deprived families through high quality education .

4th Dec 2006: Mrs Susan, the Senior Education Specialist of World Bank visited the Sanjan Nagar School. She visited each class. She spoke to some children in classes and appreciated the hardworking and learning of students. At the end, she had a Speakers Session with senior school students where she talked about her job. On 13th November, 2006: Senior officer’s wife Mrs Carol Collins of Citi Bank Group NY and Darol Somar of Citi Bank (Pak) Karachi visited the Sanjan Nagar School. They visited each class and appreciated the teachers and students devotion towards learning. They were given a special presentation on Sanjan Nagar School Trust and its objective of enabling the children of deprived families. Mr. David Waters & Mr. Raheel from England visited the school on 1st February 2006. They were very impressed by the Vision of SNPET and its facilities being provided to the students.
Our Students and Staff were honored to receive Ms. Noor Zehra, who visited the school on 28th January and conducted a session with the girls on a unique instrument called the "sagar veena". She introduced and played many melodious musical pieces on the 'Sagar Veena' which was developed and modified after 36 years of efforts by her father Mr. Raza Kazim, the Patron of SNPET. Riffat Hai one of the very few women commercial pilots and a proud feminine activist visited Sanjan Nagar as a Guest Speaker. This charming and exceptional lady proved to be an inspiring role model for young girls as well as the faculty members alike who were thrilled and moved by her stories of commitment and determination. On Friday one of our respected trustees Dr. Mrs. Mussarat Hussain visited the school campus she shared her valuable information regarding painting and art and inspired children with her life experiences. Click here to view pictures.
Sanjan Nagar was honored to receive Mr. Rajmohan Gandhi ,grand son of the legendary late Gandhi, and his wife Usha who visited Sanjan Nagar on 19th July 2005. They met some students and the EC members and appreciated the work done by the school management. Click here to view pictures.

 

Senior school children and staff were honored to have Ms. Muneeza Hashmi who visited Sanjan Nagar on October 1st for the Speaker's Session. On Saturday, May 21st, 2005, a delegation from the Indian High Commission, Islamabad visited Sanjan Nagar Girls High School under the leader ship of Ms. Mohini Menon. This was her second visit and a very special one. The EC members were also present to welcome them. The school staff and students organized a special program for the honorable guests. She also presented a generous donation of Rs.50, 000 to the School which was received by the Trustee of SNPET, Mrs. Tasneem Maqbool. Click here to view pictures.

 

 

21st May 2005: The renowned scholar, respected Dr. Arifa Sayeeda who is also a Trustee and member of the Education Committee (EC) visited the Sanjan Nagar School and shared historical background and research experiences of the Urdu Language. Senior school students and staff enjoyed the interactive informative session thoroughly. It was an excellent example of good taste in language and scholarship. A very impressive beginning to the Saturday Lecture & Speaker Series which will be a monthly feature at Sanjan Nagar as an enrichment and exposure program for students as well as the staff. For comparative study of schools four students of Punjab University visited Sanjan Nagar in order to complete their assignments for mass communication. On Thursday 5th Ms. Sayeda Laleen of grammar school visited Sanjan Nagar. She went to different classes and appreciated the hard work of the staff and students.

14th April 2005: Along with Ms. Raheela from ITA Lahore a group of fifteen facilitators, visited Sanjan Nagar to gain ideas for integrated activity based teaching methodology.

The team was thrilled to see the set up and was absolutely sure that the targets were being achieved.

 

A Guiness Book Record Holder Mr.Wajih Effendi presently Studying at the Cornell University in New York and also working for Schlumberger Oilfield Services Youngsville, LA and his genius younger brother, shared their experiences in Robotics and technology through an interactive multi-media presentation. SNPET is highly grateful to Wajih and his brother for taking the time out for us for an inspiring conversation and sharing with the students and staff. Click here to read and view more pictures.

 

Ms. Najma Butt, senior Guider visited the Sanjan Nagar School and distributed Girl Guide Camping Certificates to the students who participated in the Guide Camping Tour to Murree last year.

 

On 9th March 2005, Mr. Norbert, an ex-Live Stock Development Economist, Govt. of Punjab visited Sanjan Nagar School with Beena Manzar. He also witnessed children performing karate and appreciated the hard work and devotion of the students and staff.


 

 

A grand Program organized for prospective donors in which the Governor State Bank, Dr. Ishrat Hussein was invited as the chief guest. Several senior bankers CEOs of Citibank, Union Bank, Bank of Punjab and Unilever representatives were also present at this occasion. They pledged to support the cause of SNPET.

.

On 4th March 2005, Annual Sports Day 2005 was held at the school campus for the first time. The Hon'ble Ms. Saadia S. Choudry, Advisor to the Chief Minister, on Education/Donor Coordination NGOs was the Chief Guest at this occasion. The guest list consisted of prominent social figures and Trustees SNPETS.

In the end, the Chief Guest addressed the audience and urged the Trust to help and make our dynamic Chief Minister's dream of a 'PARAH LIKHA PUNJAB' a reality. She admired the student's performance and confidence and also distributed the prizes among the position holders.

The inauguration ceremony of the schools' new building held. Madam Zobaida Jalal, Federal Minister of Education and Mr. Mian Imran Masood, Provincial Minister for Education were invited as the chief guests.

Over 500 parents and guests attended the colorful program. They also witnessed the annual Open House Day of the school illustrating integrated learning.
