Summary
A program for secondary school students to spend up to one academic year in the US. Students live with host families and attend high school, engaging in community life. iEARN is currently responsible for the recruitment of students from Pakistan. iEARN is partnering with a number of other organizations, including AYUSA, AMIDEAST, Close Up Foundation, and Sister Cities International to enhance the program through ongoing online project partnerships among participating schools. As part of the program, participating students exchange experiences via iEARN cyber-diaries .YES alumni students stay connected and share the ongoing impact of their year in the YES Consortium Alumni Database.

Student Visit in 2010-2011:
June 1st, 2011: Grade ten students
Arooj and Amina Shahzadi have been selected for iEARN-YES one year
scholarship program for 2011-2012
session. They got their US visas stamped
on 31st May. They will get one year free
education in a US school including
traveling and full accommodation. Arooj
is going to deploy to Washington
state whereas Amina is heading to Ohio, USA.
Last
year two of our school students Ayesha
Zaib and Kainat Nadeem went to USA on

Student Visit in
2008-2009:
7-Apr-2008: The student of
class nine, Sidra Shoaib has been
nominated to visit USA under the
iEARN-YES program for the year
2008-2009. Every year the school
participates in the iEARN YES
Program through which one or two
school students go to USA to
complete one year free education
there. All expenses including
education, boarding and travelling
is funded by iEARN-YES and US
department of education. Last
year, Warda Shakoor of class nine
went to USA under the same
program.

Student Visit in
2007-2008:
Warda Shakoor was selected for
2007-2008 iEARN YES student. She
went to USA and started
her regular schooling at Menomonie,
Wisconsin. She was hosted by a
Lutheran family. She joined Menomonie High School on 4 of
September as a 12 grade student.
She was involved in all school
activities. She said "It is
different from my Sanjan Nagar
School." She opted for
Algebra 1, English 3D Art and
Environmental Conservation (Agri
science) as she finds them
interesting. During her studies in
USA, she won many positions in
different curricular and
co-curricular activities.

Student Visit in 2006-2007:
Saba Ali student of class eight went
on scholarship to America through the
iEARN-YES Program. She completed
her one year education in a US
school for 2006-2007. She is still in
touch with the school and informs
that she enjoyed the
experience of being in America.

Student Visit in 2004-5005:
Through iEARN YES program Sadia

eight-visited USA for three weeks
in June 2004. Click

Student Visit in 2002-2003:
On May 31, 2002, Saadia Sarvar
student of class six went to Korea
to attend the World Festival for
Children 2002. She was in a group
of two children to represent
Pakistan. Click here
