From Enabling the Deprived to Enabling our Future – A Paradigm Shift initiated by the Students themselves...stories of empowerment.

In the summer of 2007 graduates from class X challenged the Trustees to reconsider the trust’s slogan of “Enabling the Deprived”, which smacks of ‘charity’ and inappropriately describes their condition. According to them, they felt empowered from the time they entered Sanjan Nagar and with each year passing empowerment became more concrete with enhanced capabilities. The Trustees heard the young girls and suggested that they should rewrite the script themselves as they deemed fit. The very next day they proposed “ Enabling Our Future”. It was readily accepted as the true beneficiaries, the children had spoken and yes Sanjan Nagar Public Education Trust is indeed a journey and a tribute to “ Enabling Our Future “
