18th, 2009: An important Parent-School
meeting was held in the school to
address important school issues and

December 4th, 2009: A farewell party was given to the former Admin Officer of Sanjan Nagar School Mr. Joseph Nadeem. He resigned from the school in September. Mr. Joseph served the school for around ten years. The school principal presented him flowers and gift as a token of appreciation on behalf of the school and admired the services he rendered to the school.

July, 2009: Bravo! This year too our
students made remarkable results in the
AKU annual examination by scoring A+
Grade. In SSC and HSCC many of our
students topped in the whole region in
different computer, arts and other

14, 2009: Meeting of Education
Committee was conducted at SNPETHSS to
discuss the academic issues of weak
and challenging students. Promotions
of some junior school students were
pending since the last final exams.
Their promotions are to be made on the
condition of their improvement in the
second term exams this year.
24-Jan-2009: Education Committee Meeting with Parents held at the school. The meeting was presided by Madam Baela Jamil, one of the trustees fo the Sanjan Nagar Education Trust. Through such meetings, the trustees keep up an established report with parents.
15th September 2008: This year new I.Com
group was introduced for Grade XI. The
objective of new group is to provide
expanded learning opportunities to the
students in different areas of
education.
August 8, 2008: SNPET takes pleasure in
sharing that the UWI Citigroup
Foundation Grant of $58, 500 has been
renewed for the Year 2008-09. The
disbursement took place in August, 08.
This amount will be utilized to sustain
education excellence and entitlements of
the underprivileged through professional
development.
• Our one FSc successor of SNPETHSS got
admission in F.C. College for
Baccalaureate Programme of 4 years.
• Our two successors of SNPETHSS got
admission in University of Education for
BS.c (Hons.)
June 30, 2008: New admissions were got
in Grade nursery. For each morning and
evening sessions 30 students were
admitted after interviews and
home-surveys. New classes will commence
on 25th August, 2008.
April
21, 2008: Annual Admission process
for 2008-2009 academic session has
started. A large number of parents from
near vicinity appeared for getting
admissions for their young ones and
submitting application forms. After
sorting out of application, the selected
applicants would have their surveys. The
final enrollment list is expected in

March
5, 2008: Mr. Muhammad Ali, father of
Class ten student Saba Ali donated two
electronic compound microscopes to the
schools science laboratory. The donation
also includes some test tubes as well as
transparent slides. The school
administration is thankful to him for
this generous donation.
January
8, 2008: We are proud to announce that our
students secured 98.53% in QAT held in
October November 2007. Our school got
2nd position in the District Lahore.
Moreover Mr. Suhail Nawaz Bhalli
MEA of PEF visited school for annual
inspection and was very happy to see the
standard and studies of the school.

17, 2007: The school bought a new
generator. It was needed to cope up with
the power shortage we have these days.
November
21, 2007: It gives us great pleasure
to share with you all that our Sanjan
Nagar Public Education Trust School has
been awarded a prestigious grant of
$53,000 from United Way International.
This grant was made possible by the
generosity of UWI donor in Pakistan,
Citigroup Foundation. Mr. Zubyr Somroo,
CCO and MD Citi Bank Pakistan and Mr.
Mueen Afzal, Chairman Sanjan Nagar
Public Education Trust Girls High
School, signed the grant certificate at
a ceremony on November 21st. The Patron
of the school Sir Raza Kazim, Managing
Trustee, Mrs. Baela Raza Jamil,
Trustees, Mrs. Tasneem Maqbool, Mrs.
Nasreen Kasuri and Ms. Nadia Jamil with
many other influential personalities
from different walks of life were
present at the ceremony.
September 17, 2007: Sanjan Nagar Higher
Secondary School for girls has
officially started for which efforts
were under way for the last four months.
The first batch of grade 11th is of 18
students both FA and FSc program. Mrs.
Beena Raza welcomed the students on
behalf of the Sanjan Nagar Education
Trust and briefed them about the
objectives of the college.
Just like SNPET Girls High School,
11th grade is also affiliated with Agha
Khan Examination Board for Intermediate
Examination certificates.

24, 2007: As per the requirement of Aga Khan University Education Board
Sanjan Nagar Trust School has upgraded
the computer lab. We have added 10
computers and now we have 15 computers
in the lab, students and teachers are
constantly involved in different IT
projects of iEARN and Intel which
promotes inquiry based learning .
August 23, 2007: The new academic year
started with vigor. This year after
Nursery
enrollment of 60 students in morning and
evening shift, the total strength will
be 430 students in 2007-2008 academic

7, 2007: Registrations for New
Admissions for the session of 2007-2008
has been started. Total 60 students will
be admitted in Nursery classes for
Morning and Evening shifts. According to Sanjan Nagar Trust criteria families
will be assessed for deserving through

March 30, 2007: Sanjan Nagar
Public Educatiohn Trust Girls High
School is proud to announce that it has
been registered as a Citizen Community
Board Member, in City District Lahore.
This would enable the school to access
district development funds from the City
District Government of Lahore and is
indeed a very positive step.

members met with the parents of senior
school students. They discussed

15, 2006: Four students of
class eleven got admissions for their
Intermediate at Lahore Grammar College,
one in pre-engineering and three in pre
medical.
August
28, 2006: Sanjan Nagar began the
afternoon classes from this year (2006).
Both boys and girls from the local
community families were admitted.
Art for Education was a mini fundraiser
at the World Bank Office in Islamabad
held from February 16 to 21st , 2007
opened formally by the outgoing country
director John Wall and the incoming
Country Director Mr.Yousafa . Mr. Mueen
Afzal, Chairman and Board Members
Mrs.Nusrat Jalal and Baela Raza Jamil
were also present at the function. The
exhibition was attended by local
dignitaries including diplomats,
developmental agencies, civil society
organizations and bureaucrats.
The exhibition featured Prints by M.F
Hussain, Photogrpahs by Raza Kazim and
Rashida Raza and original art works by
children from Sanjan Nagar also prepared
art and crafts which were very vibrant
and creative such as Weavers, Potters
and pottery designing village scene.
Three students Amina Choudhry, Sidra
Shoib and Jameela Shaeen from grade VIII
and a mother Mrs. Naila also attended
the opening session alongwith faculty
member Ms. Misbah.
The children also went to Daman-e-Koh
to enjoy a nice dinner and the
spectacular lights and views of the
capital city.
Speaker Session Series
October 31st, 2009: Brian Q Silver and
Shubha Shankaran Sanjan Nagar girls were
delighted to have the famous music
maestros Brian Q Silver and Shubhna
Shankaran amongst them. Mr. Brian is the
chief of Urdu Staff of Voice of America
since 1986. He Plays Sitar and has
received his Ph.D. from the University
of Chicago in the Department of South
Asian Languages and Civilizations, where
he focused on Urdu and Persian
literature, history, culture, and music.
Shubha Sankaran is among a handful of
musicians currently performing the
surbahar on the concert stage. A
computer engineer by profession, she is
the first woman who plays Surbahar (a
musical instrument). They had a musical
session with the students and were
deeply impressed by the learning and
music knowledge of the girls. Later they
listened to the music lessons of the
girls and shared some tips as well.

8, 2008: Mrs. Zehra Majid Ali
famous literary figure who is also the
sister of Anwar Maqsood was invited as a
guest speaker on May 9, 2008. She was
accompanied by Mrs. Rashida Raza. She
shared her childhood memories and took
views of students of grade 7 and 8 about
Urdu Literature. Then she visited the
school and expressed her emotions

1, 2007: Dr. Sajjid Maqbool who is a
child specialist and Ms. Tasneem Maqbool
a member of school's education committee
visited the school. After having a
school round they had a speaker's
session with the students in which he
talked about Nutrition and balanced
diet. Students participated in the
discussion and enjoyed his session a
lot. They were delighted to see the
response of the students. He will be
visiting school on monthly bases to talk
to the students on different health and
hygiene issues.

27, 2007: Famous compere, an
intellectual and advocate Mr. Naeem
Bokhari visited the Sanjan Nagar School
as a guest speaker. He took a revealing
session on the topic of "Eternal
Happiness". He shared his precious
views on happiness for others. Students
enjoyed his conversation. He assured to
continue this session in future
lectures.

16, 2007: Famous artist, an
intellectual and famous advocate Mr. Naeem Bokhari and Arshad Mehmood who is
renowned artist and composer, visited
the school. They had a lectures session
with the students in which they shared
their ideas about freedom of thought and
the importance of creativity. Concluding
his address, Mr. Naeem Bokhari stated
that the School was nothing less than a

Students and Staff were honored to
receive Ms. Noor Zehra, who visited
the school on 28th January and
conducted a session with the girls on
a unique instrument called the "sagar
veena". She introduced and played
many melodious musical pieces on the 'Sagar
Veena' which was developed and
modified after 36 years of efforts by
her father Mr. Raza Kazim, the Patron
of SNPET. Students were very excited
to see the instrument and were highly

Hai one of the very few women

activist visited Sanjan Nagar as a

exceptional lady proved to be an

December 9th, 2009: Mrs. Farzana Naqvi Visited Sanjan Nagar School with Ms. Noor Zehra (Daughter of Raza Kazim). Mrs. Naqvi is working with a school in UK. She visited each section of the school and praised the hardworking of students and teachers.
November 24th, 2009: Ms Beth visited the Sanjan Nagar School. She saw different classes and departments of the Sanjan Nagar School. Mr. Beth is an English Language Trainer. She also had an introductory session with teachers and talked about their English language related issues with students.
November 5th, 2009: Mrs. Rana from Agha
Khan University Examination Board
visited the Sanjan Nagar School. She was

October 12th, 2009: Sanjan Nagar is
trying to get affiliated with the
International Baccalaureate Primary
Years Program. In this connection the
Regional Manager of IB PYP Asia Pacific,
Ms. Kathy Derrick visited the school.
She observed the school methodologies
and had detailed meetings with principal
and teachers to get an insight into the
school. She visited each class and
observed classes while collecting
evidences necessary to carry on school's

Luallpuria Director of Lokvehaar visited

24th October, 2008: SAMA TV organized
and recorded Forum of SNPETHSS students
by famous T.V. compare Mr. Faisal
Qureshi. Students discussed and debated
on miscellaneous educational and
non-educational issues of their lives.
They also shared their ideas with Faisal
Qureshi on current affairs.
18th-August-2008: Ms. Mian Ridge from UK
visited the SNPETHSS. She observed
different classes, students and teachers
in different learning and teaching
activities. She appreciated the hard
work of students and teachers. She also
had a brief question and answer session
with students. This visit was her part
of the research work about education
system in Pakistan.

School. She was accompanied by Ms. Beena

Ms. Aine visited all the classes. She

class. She appreciated the teachers and

4, 2006: Mrs Susan, the Senior
Education Specialist of World Bank
visited the Sanjan Nagar School. She
visited each class. She spoke to some
children in classes and appreciated the
hardworking and learning of students. At
the end, she had a Speakers Session with
senior school students where she talked
about her job. She enjoyed this session
and a lot and answered the questions of
the students.

On 13th November, 2006: Senior officer’s
wife Mrs Carol Collins of Citi Bank
Group NY and Darol Somar of Citi Bank
(Pak) Karachi visited the Sanjan Nagar
School. They visited each class and
appreciated the teachers and students
devotion towards learning. They were
given a special presentation on Sanjan
Nagar School Trust and its objective of
enabling the children of deprived
families. In the end they had a Speakers

March
3rd, 2010: Annual Play of the Sanjan
Nagar School held at Ali Auditorium of
Ali Institute of Education. This year
a Punjabi play "Moongi Masoor"
was produced and performed by Sanjan
Nagar students under the direction of
Ms. Huma Safdar.
"Moongi Masoor" is the
outcome of the Theatre Workshops held
at Sanjan Nagar few months back by Ms.
Huma Safdar. The Theatre and Drama
Trainer, worked with Sanjan Nagar
students on the themes of voice throw,
improvisation, music and mind sets.

25, 2009: Annual Open House Day
of the school was held on 25th
of April 2009. The chief guest
for this year’s Open House was
Dr. Bernadette Louise Dean,
principal Kinnaird College.

whole school worked on the theme

and 8th are taking part in the Book
Bound Project coordinated by Mr. Mian
Manzar. In this project, a bag with few
books is given to every participant. The
objective of this project is to develop
love and care for books. Every bag
contains an Encyclopedia, dictionary,
atlas and story books in English and
Urdu, to kindle readers. The project is
sponsored by a couple based in
Singapore, Mr Munib Madni and his wife

April 21, 2007: Sanjan
Nagar Public Education Trust Girls High
School held its annual Open House on
project and theme based
inter-disciplinary learning
methodologies. It was well attended by
parents, families and educators on 21st
April, 2007. Mian Imran Masood, the
provincial Education Minister graced the
occasion and appreciated creative and
detailed work done by the students. The
Principal Ms. Faiza Shahrukh and the
faculty gave an overview of the program.
He visited each classroom and praised
the displays and stimulating learning
environment. Mian Imran admired the
subject integration approach in the
projects. Each class focused on well
researched specific topics such as: “Harrapa”,
“Five Senses”, “How the Brain Works”,
“Inclusive Education”, and much more.

On 8th November, Annual Function/Open
House was celebrated on school campus.
Students of all classes performed in
different teams. Miss Nadia Jameel was
invited as the chief guest who
appreciated the students talent and was
overwhelmed by the confidence of the

13th, 2010: A special collaborative
IBO-Planning meeting was conducted
presided by Ms Faiza and Ms Naseem.
This meeting was part of the IBO
implementation program going on in the
school since Ms Kathy visited the
school. On initial basis, class II is
selected as sample IBO-oriented class
in which all IBO teaching and learning
standards are applied with close
monitoring of new assessment systems
under the supervision of Ms Naseem and
Ms Ayesha.
January
28th, 2010: Ms Fareeha conducted a
Hand writing workshop for senior
school students. Students of class six
to twelve attended this workshop. She
highlighted the importance of
hand-writing and gave innovative ideas
for improving it. Respective class
teachers were also there to attend
this workshop.
January 12th, 2010: Ms Rafia had a session with all science teachers. She helped science teachers in documenting their science practical work through latest lesson plan development skills. Dr. Rafia has been helping the school in assessment, evaluation of the teachers and interviewing the new inductees for Mathematics and Physics. She is also providing support in redesigning the physics lab manual. Dr. Rafia is working with both primary and higher secondary levels.

26, 2007: Interviews of the

school. Ten teachers were short listed
for Intel 2006-2007 Intel Award. Ms. Bazgah was there to conduct interviews

1, 2008: Like every year, school
participated in the Unilever Art
Project. The theme for this year artwork
was “Beauty and Difference”. All school
students participated in this project;
six students from senior sections were
short listed and got certificates. The
artwork was composed of drawings, models
and a mural composed of many panels made
by classes from nursery to ten.
November
17, 2007: 23 Students participated
in the World School Milk Day
celebrations at race course ground. This
day is celebrated all over the world for
educating and making the children aware

5, 2007: Ajoka Theater performed a
Punjabi play PATA KAHN at Sanjan Nagar
on 5th Nov, 2007. It was metaphorical

state of affairs and how people react to

was held in Sanjan Nagar School on May
10, 2008 by school administration. Many

Health Program
January 15th, 2010: Well-known Child Specialist, Dr. Sajjid Maqbool visited Sanjan Nagar and had a session with all senior school students on the topic of “Prevention is better than Cure” . He was accompanied by his wife and Trustee SNPET Mrs. Tasneem
Maqbool. He talked about symptoms and prevention of some common diseases found in children and infants in Pakistan. He will be visiting Sanjan Nagar on
weekly basis from now onwards.
15th October, 2008: World Hand wash day
was celebrated in the school. Students
presented different plays/skits in the
morning assembly to highlight the
importance of hand washing and
cleanliness. Different TV

21, 2008: Dr. Tania Somro has joined
Sanjan Nagar School as a volunteer for
giving free medical services to all
school students for six week. She is
conducting separate sessions with junior
and senior school students on
cleanliness and hygiene on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday. She will continue
to serve Sanjan Nagar till six weeks.

18, 2008: Blue band team presented a
fun program for school students. They
demonstrated the importance of break
fast through a comedy and musical play.
Students liked it very much. They also
distributed prizes among the students
for collecting Blue Band wrappers. Click

13, 2008: Class Eight students
participated in a session on the World
Kidney Day held at Children Hospital.
Their science teacher Ms Farzana was
also with them. The theme for this year
for World Kidney day was the awareness
of different kidney disease. Many school
and medical college students as well as
nurses attended this session.
November
30, 2006: With collaboration of
Safeguard Health and Hygiene Day was
celebrated in the school. School
students organized a puppet show to
teach the lesson of health safety. The
Safeguard Health team was present to
witness this. Miss Misbah and Miss
Shomaila students presented a puppet
show while Class Eight student Amina
Choudhry did a speech on the said topic.

5, 2006: A doctor’s team
visited the school to give Hepatitis
Vaccination to all school children.
Blood test facility was also available
with the medical team.

specialist from LRBT-(The Layton
Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust) visited

visit was a series of the exchange
program between Sanjan Nagar School and
Blue Bells International School Delhi
for which MoU had been signed by the
both school heads last year. The group
also visited historical monuments in
India and mainly focused on finding the
new ways of elaborated working and

December 2nd, 2009: Grade ten student
Ayesha Zaib, who is currently studying
in Grenada Mississippi, USA, has made a
remarkable achievement by scoring A+
grade sevent classes. She and Kainat
Nadeem were selected under an iEARN-YES
program to study for one year in one of
the USA schools. They both are hosted by
American families there. They are
scheduled to come back in July 2010.

November 14th, 2009: A group of six

October, 20th, 2009: Its was a milestone achieved for the students and teachers of Blue Bells and Sanjan Nagar School when the principals of both the schools signed an MoU last year and entered into an agreement to share the learning teaching methodologies, cultures and similarities. Under this bilateral Student and Teachers exchange program a group of students and teachers will visit Blue Bells School New Delhi in this year. Similarly the students and teachers of Blubells will be invited to visit Sanjan Nagar. It will be rich and great learning experience for both the teachers and students.
August 5th, 2009: Grade ten students
Kainat and Ayesha has safely reached USA
to start their one year free education
in one of the US School under iEARN-YES
Program for 2009. They were among the
group of 26 students selected from
Punjab province. Kainat got her host
family in Florida whereas Ayesha will
live in Mississippi state.

Governor Perdue of North Carolina
during the governor's page week.
January 21st 2009: Grade Nine students Ayesha Zaib and Kainat Nadeem have been selected for iEARN-YES one year scholarship program for 2007-2008 session. They will get one year free education in a US school including traveling, accommodation.

7, 2008: The student of class nine, Sidra Shoaib has been nominated to visit
USA under the iEARN-YES program for the
year 2008-2009. Every year the school
participates in the iEARN YES Program
through which one or two school students
go to USA to complete one year free
education there. All expenses including
education, boarding and travelling is
funded by iEARN-YES and US department of
education. Last year, Warda Shakoor of class
nine went to USA under the same program.
She is supposed to come back in June.
March
1, 2008: Class 9 student Amina
Choudhry has been selected to
participate in the Initiative for Peace
Conference – Youth Perspective 2008 to
be held in Pune, India on 18th to 25th
June 2008. The conference is a joint
venture between Li Po Chun United World
College of Hong Kong and Mahindra United
World College of Hong Kong. Nearly
seventeen school students are going to
participate from Pakistan.
August 8, 2007: Warda Shakoor was selected for
2007-2008 iEARN YES student. She
went to USA and started
her regular schooling at Menomonie,
Wisconsin. She was hosted by a
Lutheran family. She joined Menomonie High School on 4 of
September as a 12 grade student.
She was involved in all school
activities. She said "It is
different from my Sanjan Nagar
School." She opted for
Algebra 1, English 3D Art and
Environmental Conservation (Agri
science) as she finds them
interesting. During her studies in
USA, she won many positions in different
curricular and co-curricular activities.
Saba Ali student of class eight went on
scholarship to America through the iEARN-YES
Program. She will complete her one year
education in a US school for 2006-2007. She is
in touch with the school and informs that she is
enjoying the experience of being in America.

Science Museum with their teachers.
Students got lots of information by
visiting Science Galleries on various
topics through models, scientific
instruments and pictures. Students also
visited gallery of legendary scientists

not only informative but also enjoyable

10, 2007: Primary Classes Nursery to
class 1 morning and afternoon shift went
on a day's trip to Race Course Park with
their teacher's and other staff members.
They enjoyed the water fall, fish pond

March 27, 2007: Junior School students
visited the Children Complex and Bagh-e-Jinnah as part of their regular
educational field trip. Students from
the Nursery and Prep, along with classes
One through Five went to this trip. They
visited the library, science museum and
gallery. Later the students played games
in the Bagh-e Jinnah located across the
road.
On 14th November, 2006 the whole school
went on a recreational trip to Jalo
Park. They enjoyed their visit very
much. The school provided the children
with free juice and packet of chips. The
headmistress give the girls and staff a
small token of thanks in the form of
“The Jalo Train Ride” as the entire
school worked hard and performed very
well in the annual function.

Basic Educational And Functional Literacy
July 17, 2008: SNPETHSS is proud to
announce the successful completion of
Spoken English and Basic Computer
Application short courses held during
summer vacations from June to July.
Certificate ceremony was held in the
college. Nineteen students out of 25 got
certificates as well result cards for

January 20th, 2010: Ms Rizwana Sadiq has joined Sanjan Nagar school as a volunteer teacher. She has just finished her FSc. And wants to join IPL for her graduation. She had her ten years free education from Sanjan Nagar school. She is thankful to Sanjan Nagar school for providing her free education. She wants to serve Sanjan Nagar by giving volunteer services. She will give her teaching services to class to six for six months.

6, 2009: Ms. Huma Safdar, a highly
acclaimed theatre resource person
conducted a workshop on theatre and
drama with summer camp school students
and teachers. She will be conducting
similar workshops on Saturdays,
helping towards the annual play.

25, 2009: Ms Sarwat, a teacher and
expert of (Arts & Science subjects
integration) visited SNPETSS school
along with Mrs Raza. She also
conducted a short workshop with
subject teachers and shared views on
integration of Arts and Science.
July 10, 2008: Beachonhouse School
Student Internees had their last day of
giving their (one month) services in
mentoring class four and five students
in English and mathematics. The
principle praised their dedication and
hardworking in teaching/assisting Sanjan
Nagar school students in English and

to Mrs. Zahra Hussain who had been

Zahra Hussain is a well known poet and
a dedicated educationist. She excels
in English Language Teaching and
Literature. She holds a masters degree
in English Literature from the Punjab
University. Mrs. Hussain comes from a
family of poets, artists and
educationists. She spends most of her
time doing volunteer work with many
educational institutions run by her
friends in Pakistan and the United

SNPET school was organized
here at the school campus. Mr. Raja
Zafar Secretary for Chief Minister's

of trustees. Students of all classes

guests and parents were there to
enjoy.

26th, 2010: Science Teacher Ms Freeha
Shahid and senior school coordinator
Ms Fazana organized an Urdu and
English Hand-writing competition in
the school. Two groups consisting of
seven senior school students
participated in the competition. Two
panels of judges were there to judge
English and Urdu hand writing
respectively. Meanwhile other students
sang school song and did speeches on
the importance of hand-writing in

November 16th, 2009: Senior School
English teacher, Ms Saira Shauket
organized a mini debate session to
celebrate the World Tolerance day.
Students of class nine and ten made
speeches to express the importance of

6th 2009: Physical health and fitness
of the students are among the major
objectives of the Sanjan Nagar Trust.
Every year, class six, seven and eight
students participate in the Girl Guide
Tour Camp organized by Punjab Girl
Guide Association in Murree. Under the
supervision of Ms. Misbah Rasheed and
Ms. Fozia, ten students of the senior
school went to Murree Hills to
participate in Girl Guide Camp.
June
3, 2009: Class 9th students gave a
farewell party to class 10th. They had
arranged interesting games and
presentations for their fellow
students. The entire faculty and the
principal were present on the
occasion. There was lot of singing and
fun. The Principal addressed the
students wishing them best of luck and
reminded them of the great
opportunities that lay ahead for them
in their higher studies and
experiences. The party ended with
refreshments arranged by students and
the school in the home Economics Lab.

Book Bound Project. Book Bound is really
an innovative initiative taken by Manzar
Mian who has been mobilizing financial

in Sanjan Nagar and also in
underprivileged public sector schools in

10, 2008: Fifteen Class eight
students visited a seminar on the
importance of water. The seminar was
organized by Girl Guide Pakistan at the
Girl Guide Camp, New Muslim Town,
Lahore. Girls from different schools of
Lahore attended this event which was
addressed by different
environmentalists.

7, 2008: The students of class seven
and eight combindly had a girl guide
camp at the school campus. Under the
supervision of Ms. Misbah and Ms. Zerish,
the two classes worked in two groups and
installed two camps with kitchen, bed
room and a bathroom. Students used
easily available material to fix

7, 2008: Sanjan Nagar School students
had their school election. They selected
their Head Girl, Deputy Head Girl and
Class Prefects. Mrs. Faiza awarded the
badges and satchels to the selected
nominees who had their oath in a Oath
Taking ceremony right after it. Miss
Nseem Rasheed took oath from them. The
ceremony was held at school library and
participated by classes six to onward.

Play on December 1st.2007 for their
entertainment. A big jumping castle,

activities were arranged within the

8, 2007: Pakistan Girl Guides
Association had its annual camping in Murree this summer 18 Sanjan Nagar Girls
and three teachers participated in 8
day’s camp. The campsite site was at
Ghoragali on the pine slopes. These Girl
Guides spent there time in the camps
learning basic life skills, acceptance
for diversity and solution of different
problems through activities. The
rationale for this camp was to empower
them by putting them into different
situations where they effectively use
their decision making skills and develop

October 20, 2008: The Sanjan Nagar is
proud to announce the names of three
students who got distinction in annual
Exams of AKU-EB for the academic year
2007-2008. Names of the Position Holders
are as follow:
" Nida Khalid of Grade 9 got

Sciences. " Sidra Shoaib of Grade 9
got position in Physics & Computer
Sciences. " Saba Ali of Grade 10
got position in subject of Urdu.
These three students from SNPETHSS

5th September 2008: High marks
achievers of SNPETHSS in 2007-2008. All
college students got more than 70
percent marks in the HSCC Annual AKU
Examinations.
July 8, 2008: The Agha Khan
Examination Board has declared the
result for SCC 2007-2008 exams held in
April fro SCC exams. 24 students
appeared in it.
July 8, 2008: Result was announced Grade
9 & 10. The result is with 100%
average. The exams were held in April by

Agha Khan Examination Board. It is our
2nd batch of students being qualified by
the AKUEB. Result for HSCC is scheduled
to be declared on 5th August 2008.
16-Jun-2008: Result was announced of
Grade Nursery to Grade 8. Grade 1 and
3-B took lead with 74% average. Parents
were called to discuss and receive
results of their children. New classes
will duly commence on 25th of August.

with flying colours! Well Done Students,
Teachers and Parents!
July 5, 2007: AKU Examination Board
declared their first 2006-2007 session
result for Class IX & X. We are very
proud to report that all our eight
students have passed this examination
with first division. Four students of
this first batch of Sanjan Nagar got A
and A+ Grades. The Sanjan Nagar board of
Trustees are very happy and heartily
congratulate them, their teachers and
parents for their dedicated support in
helping them achieve such a milestone.

for the academic year September 2005 -
June 2006 was declared on 15th June
2006. Overall result was excellent but
some certain areas need improvement
(copy of the minutes enclosed).
