SNPET Students participated in the Children Literature Festival Islamabad 2013

 Under the umbrella of ITA(Idara-e-Taleemo Agahi) and Oxford press, a Two-Day Children Literature Festival (CLF) was celebrated in Islamabad. Dr. Baela Raza Jamil, a renowned educationist and the director of ITA and chairperson of Sanjan Nagar presided the festival here.

 The inauguration ceremony was held on Friday 24th at 9:30 am at Pak-China Friendship Centre. Numerous presentations from different schools were part of this ceremony.

 Sanjan Nagar PYP Coordinator Ms. Naseem Rasheed and Grade 8th and 10th students from Hima Campus presented an energizing musical performance on Punjabi Bolyan, extracted from a play of Bopolochi written by Ana Flora Steel. It was a mega event sharing the importance of book reading. Lot more sessions particularly “Bol Key Lab Azad Han Tere”, Poetry Time, Story Telling and Painting Section were articulated by the educationists, philosophers, writers, musicians, vocalists and teachers and students. People and kids from all provinces of Pakistan participated in it.

 Numerous NGOs from across the Pakistan had their stalls sharing their work on their disciplines. Ms. Nadia Jamil a renowned artist also conducted sessions on story telling and dramatic reading.

 Sanjan Nagar students were also invited by the Capital T.V morning show. The theme of the program was “…every child has a right to participate without anydiscrimination”.
