The Independence Day is one of the six public holidays observed in Pakistan and is celebrated all across the country so keeping the same notion alive. Sanjan Nagar also celebrated the day with high spirits.   

Students presented national songs, tableaus and enactments related to Independence Day. A special segment for quiz was held to make our students aware about the facts of our country so they enjoy and learn during the celebration. They delivered speeches in both languages to highlight the importance and history of our independence.

Moreover our music teacher Ms.Aliya sang her patriotic song with students that made everyone more energetic.

These activities of students awakened everyone’s’ feelings towards our motherland to remember the sacrifices of the patriots and martyrs in the freedom struggle. At the end the Principal offered words of appreciation to the students, teachers and head that being the new generation of our country you are the future of Pakistan. So, you should lead the country.

Two commitments were made in this celebration by students;

• To plant trees
• To keep the surrounding clean

The ceremony ended with National Anthem leaving a mark of patriotism and a spirit to work for the betterment of the country on the individual level.
