Two teachers from IBPYP section; Ms.Komal Waheed and PYP Librarian Ms.Aiza Nosheen attended a day long workshop on 30th January'19, on the theme
"Reading for pleasure is more important to children's successes than education or social class."
This one-day workshop was led by Sarah Mears, a senior UK libraries consultant with several years of experience heading a major UK public library service.

Theory and principles behind why family reading is important and how libraries are key to this
UK best practice in delivering reading events that are focused on families
Example events and programmes
Hands-on workshop for participants to begin to develop family reading programs and campaigns
