IIME is a project where
students of two classes of distant
countries create one big mural in
cooperation. The aim is to raise the
next generation who understand diverse
values and coexist with different people
to make this world better.
Sanjan Nagar School became a part of
this marvelous mural exchange project
through iEARN forum in June 2010. The
school got registered after sending the
"Application form" to
"Atsuko Shiwaku" who is the
founder of the project. After sending
our application form and showing
interest through mails the school was
sent an "Entry Sheet". The
sheet was the important step to tell
about our school, interests, etc to get
our school paired with a school in
Japan.
Finally our school got paired
with "Kizu Junior High School
Japan" and we got an active contact
person "Mami Miyahara". From
this point we started a continuous
connection between the schools on the
project forum at http://www.j-artmile.com.
The contact persons of both sides, Mami
Miyahara from Japan and Saima Shauket
from Pakistan started with introduction
then proceeded to the project
discussions with the students. Meanwhile
"Atsuko Shiwaku" is always in
contact with all the paired schools of
around 20 countries through emails and
IIME forum.

March 1st, 2011: Our partner school completed their part
of the mural and sent to us with all
their love. We received the parcel in
the end of February and had a grand
"Parcel Opening Session" on
1st March 2011 with the principal,
students and teachers. Everyone was very
excited to have to have the box opened
like a "magic hat" of any
magician. The parcel had a beautiful
mural (half part painted by Japanese
School and beautiful comments at the
back of parcel), paints, Letters from
Mami and Kizu School Principal, candies,
rice snacks, sweet gifts, origami papers
and students work with their
photographs. We all enjoyed the session
and sent the comments and pics of the
grand event to the partner school.
Sanjan Nagar School has started working
on the mural and will send the mural
back with our love tokens before the end
of March. Wait for more exciting news!. Click
