Is Sanjan Nagar Public Education Trust a registered entity?
  Yes SNPET is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 as a not-for-profit Trust. It is listed with the Registrar Joint Stock Companies.
   
What is the SNPET program?
  SNPET is a charitable Trust working with the objective to impart quality, contemporary education to the children of the poor for cultivation of their creative potential for development of mankind and meaningful progress of the country. For this purpose, the Trust has opened an English medium school for girls belonging to an impoverished background called the SNPET Girls High School in Lahore.
   
How is SNPET governed?
  SNPET is governed through the Board of Trustees (BOT) headed by a chairman. The BOT is further sub-divided into various committees to supervise different aspects of the work related to running the Trust and the School such as the Education Committee, the Finace & Works committee, the Fundraising committee. The BOT is assisted by the Manager Social Marketing and Governance and the Head Teacher for handling the affairs of the Trust and the School respectively.
   
Up to what level is education being provided at SNPETGHS?
  Education will be provided at least up to Grade 12, that is, up to intermediate (A-levels/ FA/FSc) level. Currently, however, the senior-most class at SNPETGHS is Class IX which will appear for its SSC examination in the year 2006.
   
What is the standard of education provided by the SNPET Girls High School?
  At SNPETGHS, students are being prepared for Secondary School Certificate of a standard recognized internationally. The students will take either the International Baccalaureate (IB) examination or the Cambridge University's Secondary and Higher Secondary level examination. Those students who are unable to appear in the international degree program will be provided an opportunity through the matriculation examination to be held under the Aga Khan University Examination Board.
   
Is SNPET only going to promote education among girls?
  Although, the first school opened by the Trust is for girls only, the Trust has plans to expand and open more schools which will target boys as well as girls.
   
What are the facilities provided by SNPETGHS?
  The facilities provided include free tuition as well as free books, stationery and reference material as well as computer training. A spacious custom-built facility provides students adequate space to learn as well as to play. Students are also provided free medical check ups as well as nutritional supplement daily to enrich their meager diet.
   
How does SNPETGHS provide exposure to its students?
  SNPETGHS students are encouraged to participate in events and seminars held both at the international as well as the national level. Two students of our school have been selected to participate in a students exchange program with the USA. One student has already participated in the World Children's Festival held in South Korea. Also, regular field trips and visits to the school by professionals as well as artists ensure that our students receive exposure to the external world. Research projects are handed out challenging the intellect of students and enabling them to study and venture outside the limits of the text book.
