Ms. Faiza Shahrukh has nearly 15
years teaching experience in one
of the prestigious
institutions of Pakistan known as
"The Beaconhouse School
System." It is an
international chain of schools
with ------ schools in Pakistan.
Faiza Shahrukh was a full time
class teacher as well as a
coordinator for English in the
High School. She has also held the
post of a Career Guidance officer
for O' level and A' level students
at the school. She has traveled
across the country teaching and
coordinating various aspects of
the school curriculum in the
different regions of Pakistan. She
has gained vast experience in
working with children and parents
from very diverse cultural and
religious backgrounds.
Faiza Shahrukh obtained her
Certificate in Professional
Studies in Education from Bradford
University UK in 1999 and achieved
her Masters in Art (MA) degree in
School Administration from The
Beacon House National University
in Pakistan in 2005. In the year
2007 she completed a course of
training at The Plymouth State
University New Hampshire i n
USA and was awarded a Certificate
for being a qualified Master
Trainer and an Evaluator. Her
major areas of specialization are
on mentoring and institutional
strengthening.
She joined
Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi as a
School Development Associate and
then progressed to the post of
Master Trainer for English and
later Manager Training Wing at
this institution within 3 years.
She has been actively engaged in
The Continuous Professional
Development programmes, in-service
training of teachers and capacity
building programs. Her work
focuses on training the under
performing and under privileged
non-elite school teachers and for
the professional development of
Government school teachers.
Faiza joined The Sanjan Nagar
Public Education Trust (SNPET)
School as a Principal and is now
heading this unique institution.
SNPET School is a charitable Trust
school which is working with the
objective to impart quality and
contemporary education to the
children of the poor communities,
for cultivation of their creative
potential and for development of
mankind and meaningful progress of
the country. It's an English
medium school for girls belonging
to an impoverished
background.
 Faiza
Shahrukh has attended and
participated in various different
conferences country wide. She
participated in The Educational
Olympiad Karachi and attended
conferences held by SPELT Society
of English Language teachers. She
has contributed towards developing
training materials for courses on
the pedagogical skills and has
also been involved in editing and
reviewing work on these programmes
with The Directorate of Staff
Development (DSD) of the Training
Modules. Her input in the
preparation of guidance materials
for tutors in this training
programme has been very much
valued and appreciated by all
concerned.
