A cordial ceremony was
organized at SNPETGHSS to award

involved in Book Bound Project.
Book Bound is really an innovative
initiative taken by Manzar Mian
who has been mobilizing financial
resources and primarily
introducing such enabling ideas
and activities since long in
Sanjan Nagar and also in
underprivileged public sector
schools in collaboration with ITA.
The chief guest of the ceremony
was Mrs. Nasreen Ayub and Mr.
Manzar Mian being the coordinator
of this project was hosting the
ceremony with the facilitation of
school based project coordinator
Ms. Naila Nadeem. Ms. Faiza
Shahrukh presided the meeting. In
the beginning of the meeting,
students were welcomed & chief
guest was introduced. Book bound
project’s vision & mission were
shared with the participants and
the core philosophy of the book
bound project was highlighted
which revolves around connecting
students with each other by
developing reading and sharing
habits in a systematic and
pleasant way. It was the dream of
Mrs. Nasreen Ayub’s daughter (Mrs.
Zahra) & her husband (Mr. Munib)
who live in Singapore and have
started this project in Pakistan.
Certificates of appreciation,
scholarships & gifts were awarded
to students of 7 & 8 grades who
were performing their role as a
teacher and grades 4 & 5 as
students & made this project
successful. For the summer
vacation programme, bags/books
were distributed to 7 & 8 grades
students to encourage them. Later
on Mrs. Nasreen Ayub expressed her
views on completion of this
ceremony that students should use
ways of communication e.g.
internet then they will be able to
get recognition worldwide for
their work and can be in touch
with the world. She guided to
senior students about reading &
reviewing the literature. She also
took interest to know the demand
and suggestions for more books by
the students in future.
Mrs. Mian (Mr. Mazhar’s mother)
also said few words to students
that ‘Love yourself, respect
yourself & make an objective of
your life.’
The ceremony ended on with
special thanks by the principal to
honorable guests, coordinators,
organizers and students.
